Hello, everyone! 今月の避難訓練は水害について行いましたよ。最近関東で大雨による災害が起きたばかりということもあり、子ども達の中にはテレビなどで見た映像を覚えている子もいました。雨が降っても車やおうちが浸かるほど水が道路にあふれるなんて想像できなかったお友達も、先生が紹介した写真を見てとても驚いていました。秋は台風が増える時期です。それに伴い雨の被害も多くなるかもしれません。みんなで気を付けましょう。

We conducted this month’s evacuation drill for floods. Since a disaster caused by heavy rain occurred in the Kanto region recently, some children remembered the images they saw on TV. Other children could not imagine water overflowing onto the roads enough to submerge cars and houses, so they were very surprised to see the photos presented by Ms. Kaoru. Autumn is a season when typhoons increase. Damage from heavy rain may also increase accordingly. Let’s remember what we learned today and stay safe.
