Hello, everyone!　今月のテーマは”Space, above the sky”(宇宙、お空の上)です。学年によって内容の幅は異なりますが、それぞれのクラスでは楽しい活動を通じて遠いお空の不思議について学んでいます。K3クラスのお友達は先生がオーロラを紹介してくれました。夜空の美しいカーテンに子ども達は興味津々です。そこでクレヨンを使ってオーロラアートを製作してみることにしました。波状のカードを当ててクレヨンで筋をつけたものを指で擦ると…濃淡がキレイなオーロラが浮かび上がりました。もっと長くつなげようと集中している子ども達の表情がとてもいいですね。素敵な作品ができました。

This month’s theme is “Space: Above the Sky.” While the activities vary by year group, every class is exploring the wonders of the cosmos through fun activities. The K3 children were introduced the aurora by their teacher, and they were absolutely captivated by these beautiful curtains in the night sky. Inspired by this, they decided to try to create aurora art using crayons. By placing a wavy piece of cardstock against their paper, drawing crayon lines, and blending them with their fingers, beautiful auroras with subtle shades of light and dark emerged. It was wonderful to see how focused the children were as they tried to make the lines stretch even further. They produced the beatutiful art!
