サマーファンタイム3日目は、海の生き物が暮らす環境について学びました。

まずは、海に流れ着くゴミが海の生き物たちにどのような影響を与えるのかを知り、「自分たちにできること」をみんなで考えました。

その後は、ゴミの分別にも挑戦！ペットボトルのラベルやキャップを外し、種類ごとに分けて捨てる体験を通して、リサイクルの大切さを学びました。

午後のアクティビティでは、網や海洋ゴミに絡まってしまった海の生き物を助ける「レスキュー活動」を行いました。子どもたちは、海の生き物に巻き付いたゴムを一本一本丁寧に外し、「助けられた！」「もう大丈夫だね」と優しく声をかけながら夢中で取り組んでいました。

遊びを通して環境問題を身近に感じ、「海をきれいにしたい」「ゴミはきちんと分別しよう」という気持ちを育むことができた一日となりました。

On the third day of Summer Fun Time, the children learned about ocean pollution and the importance of protecting the habitats where sea creatures live.

We talked about how trash affects the ocean and practiced sorting different types of waste. The children even learned to remove the labels and caps from plastic bottles before recycling them, helping them understand the importance of proper waste separation.

After learning about marine pollution, the children took part in a hands-on rescue activity. They helped “save” sea animals that had become tangled in nets and litter by carefully removing the rubber bands wrapped around them. Through this fun and meaningful activity, the children experienced how discarded trash can harm marine life and discovered that even small actions can make a big difference in protecting our oceans.

It was a wonderful day of learning, teamwork, and caring for our environment.
