Hello, everyone! 今日は小学生対象に実施しているイングリッシュイベントについて紹介いたします！主にはまキッズインターナショナルスクールを卒園した小学生を対象にした【英語を使う】機会を提供しているアドバンスプログラムでは週に1回通学して受講するアドバンスクラス、小学校の長期休暇にあわせて参加できるシーズンプログラム、そして月に1回、週末に英語でさまざまな体験ができるイングリッシュイベントを行っています。先週末はフィリピン料理とフィリピンの国について学ぶクッキングを行いました。担当講師は4月までクラス担任をしてくれていたAnne先生です。子ども達はランチにAdobo(アボド）、デザートにTuron(トゥロン）を作りました。またフィリピンの紹介ではタガログ語やポピュラーな公共バスについてお話を聞きました。今後も遠足、サイエンスなどさまざまな活動を企画しています。興味のある小学生はぜひ一度イングリッシュイベントにご参加ください！

Today, we’d like to introduce the English events we hold for elementary schoolers! Our Advanced Program—which primarily provides opportunities to “use English” for elementary school students who have graduated from International Schools—includes an Advanced Class held once a week at school, a Seasonal Program that students can join during their elementary school’s long holiday, and monthly English events held on weekends where students can enjoy a variety of experiences in English. Last weekend, we had a cooking class and the students learned about Filipino cuisine and the Philippines. The instructor was Ms. Anne, who served as the classroom teacher until April. The children made Adobo for lunch and Turon for dessert. During the introduction time, they also heard about the Tagalog language and the public buses. We are planning various other activities in the future, such as field trips and science workshops. If you’re an elementary school student interested in these events, please come join us!
