Hello, everyone! 毎月のテーマに沿ったクッキングは子ども達が大好きな活動の一つです。先生がいろんな食材を使って紹介してくれるメニューは子ども達になじみのあるものから新しいものまで様々です。1月のPanda classのクッキングではズッキーニとツナを使ったボートを作りましたよ。子ども達は自分でズッキーニの中をくり抜き、そこにマヨネーズと合わせたツナとチーズを入れてオーブンで焼きました。くり抜きには少し苦労しましたが、その分美味しさは倍増のズッキーニボートでした。

Cooking activities based on monthly themes are one of the children’s favorite things to do. The menus the teachers introduce using various ingredients range from familiar foods to new discoveries. For January’s Panda class cooking, they made zucchini boats with tuna. The children scooped out the insides of the zucchini themselves, filled them with tuna mixed with mayonnaise and cheese, and grilled them in the toaster. While scooping out the zucchini was a bit challenging, the effort made the zucchini boats taste twice as delicious.
