Hello, everyone! 今月もみんなが大好きなクッキング活動があります。Duckling classのお友達は食パンなどを使って信号機サンドを作りましたよ。青信号はキュウリ、赤信号はトマト、黄色信号はチーズです。みんなのサンドイッチのほかに４つのサンドイッチが余りました。すると子ども達が話し合い、クラス担任以外の先生達はクッキングをすることがないから、その先生達にあげよう！とフリーの先生達に御馳走をしてくれました。みんなの優しい気持ちが乗ったサンドイッチは世界で一番おいしかったのはもちろんのこと、子ども達が主体的に考え、理由をつけて決断できたことに先生達は大感激でした。

This month, we have another cooking activity everyone loves. Duckling class made traffic light sandwiches using bread and other ingredients. The green light was cucumber, the red light was tomato, and the yellow light was cheese. Besides everyone’s sandwiches, four sandwiches were left over. The children discussed and decided, “The classroom teachers have chances to have cooking activities but not other teachers, so let’s give them these!” They treated the free teachers to a meal. Of course, the sandwiches filled with everyone’s kindness were the most delicious in the world. But the teachers were especially moved that the children thought independently, explained their reasoning, and made the decision themselves. Thank you for the delicious sandwich!
