さて、子ども達がレッスンを受けている間、保護者の皆さんはどのように過ごしておられたのでしょうか？現地ではHamakids Asiaのスタッフが常にサポートをしてくれ、保護者のご要望に応じた観光などのアテンドを行いました。スタッフ自身の子ども達の、英語だけでない総合的な学習環境を考えた結果の移住について経験談を交えた育児講座では保護者からもたくさんのご質問があり時間を大幅に超過するほどでした。その他にもプライベートレッスン受講やお買い物をしたりと保護者の皆さんも英語環境での生活を楽しまれたようです。午後からはレッスンを終えた子ども達と近くのプレイランドに出かけることもあれば、コンドミニアム内のプールで遊ぶこともありました。

So, how did parents spend their time while the children were in lessons? On-site, the staff of Hamakids Asia provided constant support, arranging sightseeing tours and other activities tailored to parents’ requests. During the parenting seminar—which included personal experiences about the staff’s own decision to relocate, considering a holistic learning environment for their children beyond just English—parents asked so many questions that the session ran significantly over time.
Parents also seemed to enjoy their time in the English-speaking environment, taking private lessons or going shopping. Afternoons were spent either heading to a nearby playground with the children after their lessons or playing in the condominium’s pool.　（Continued in Part 3）
