Hello, everyone!

今日は洪水の際の避難について訓練をしましたよ。午前のレッスン中、急に緊急サイレンが鳴りました。子ども達は少しビックリしましたがすぐに先生の誘導に従って2階まで避難しました。泣いたり騒いだりする子はおらず素早く避難することができました。素晴らしい！かおる先生から紹介されたのは先週起きた九州での豪雨災害の写真です。わずかな時間でも道路まで水が溢れてくるのを確認した子ども達は”It’s dangerous!”と水害の怖さを学ぶことができました。

Today we had a drill about evacuation in case of a flood. During the morning lesson, an emergency siren suddenly went off. The children quickly followed the teacher’s guidance and evacuated to the second floor. No one cried or made a fuss, and we were able to evacuate quickly. It was wonderful!
Ms. Kaoru introduced photos of the torrential rain disaster that occurred last week in Kyushu. The children looked the photos and said “It’s dangerous!” They were able to learn the fear of flooding.
