はまキッズインターナショナルスクールでは、毎年卒園児を中心に夏休みの小学生サマープログラムを実施しています。今年の遠足は英語で忍者体験です。子ども達はハチマキベルトを付けると英語を話すの忍者の先生にいろいろな修行（？）をつけてもらいました。まずは手裏剣です。形や重さが異なる数種類の手裏剣を投げました。次に吹き矢です。どちらも的に命中させる子が続出！そして最後に忍者刀を使った振り練習。抜刀から納刀までカッコよく決めることができました。スクールに戻ってからは忍者について書かれたコラムを読んでより理解を深めた子ども達、これでいつでも忍者になれるかもしれませんね。

Tge school offers an elementary school students’ summer program every year, mainly for graduats. This year’s excursion is a ninja experience in English.The children put on their head band and belt and were given various training by the instructor ninjas in English. First of all, they learned how to use shuriken stars. The children threw several types of shurikens of different shapes and weights. Next was the blowgun. All children hit the target! Finally, they practiced swinging with ninja swords. The children were able to make a cool pose from the moment they pulled out their swords to the moment they put them back in their hands. After returning to the school, the children read a column about ninja and deepened their understanding. Now you could always be a ninja!
