今日はPanda classのライティングレッスンの様子を見に行きました。
ターゲットセンテンスは’I have a belly button.”です。Eric先生がそれぞれの単語が書かれたカードを並べています。みんなで読んでみますが何だかヘンテコな文章ですね。何がおかしいのかな？
そこで先生が作文のルールをおさらいしてくれました。文章の最初は大きな文字でスタートするね、次はアクションワードで何をしているか伝えるよ、等々。みんなで単語カードを移動させながら正しい文章を作りました。
続いてノートに文章を書いていきます。なぞり書きだけでなく自分でも書けるかな？

Today Panda class was doing the writing lesson.
The target sentence was “I have a belly button.” Mr. Eric placed some cards to make a sentence and the children all tried to read it together, but it sounded a little strange. What is wrong with it?
Then the teacher reviews the rules of composition. Start the sentence with a capital letter, use an action word to tell what you are doing, and so on. Then the children moved the cards around to make the correct sentences.
Then they wrote the sentences in their notebooks. Could they write the sentence by themselves as well as tracing it?
