園舎のある兵庫県では毎年1月17日に阪神淡路大震災の犠牲者に対して鎮魂の日を迎えます。それに合わせて今日は地震の避難訓練を行いました。普段は保育中に行うことが多いのですが、今回は延長保育中、おやつの時間に実施しました。
園庭に避難した子ども達は当時被災した先生から電気や水道が止まり不便な思いをしたことなどをお話ししてもらいました。
みんながこれからも平穏に暮らしていけるよう災害時にどのように行動するか、しっかり訓練を続けたいと思います。

In Hyogo Prefecture, where our kindergarten is located, we observe a day of remembrance for the victims of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake every January 17th. In line with this, we conducted an earthquake evacuation drill today. While such drills are usually held during regular classtime, this time we conducted it during extended care, specifically during snack time.
The children who evacuated to the playground listened to a teacher who experienced the disaster firsthand recount how electricity and water were cut off, causing great inconvenience.
We intend to continue thorough training on how to act during disasters so that everyone can continue living peacefully.
