Hello, everyone!

小学生アドバンスクラスでは月に1回イングリッシュイベントと称して子ども達に英語を使って活動する企画を実施しています。9月は2回目の万博遠足でした。今回の目玉はアメリカ館、事前にお願いをし、優先パスをいただいていたため待ち時間はほとんどなく素晴らしい展示を堪能することができました。コモンズではスタッフさんに英語で質問したりお話したりすることができ、たくさんの知らなかった国について学ぶことができました。子ども達の自信につながったこと思います。10月以降のイベントは現在募集中です。英語を学んでいる小学生で、興味がある方はぜひご連絡ください。

In Advanced Class, we hold monthly English events where elementary schoolers participate in activities using English. We went on a field trip to World Expo in September. The highlight for this time was the USA Pavilion. Ms. Emi asked the U.S.A. pavilion for the priority passes in advance, we enjoyed minimal wait times and fully experienced the wonderful exhibits. At the Commons, children were able to ask questions and converse with staff in English, learning about many countries they hadn’t known before. We believe this experience boosted the children’s confidence.

We are currently accepting applications for events starting in October and beyond. Elementary school students learning English who are interested are welcomed to participate our events!
